How pre-filled pod kits work

A pre-filled pod kit pairs a rechargeable battery with sealed pods that come ready filled with nic salt e-liquid. Click a pod in and vape. When it runs out, swap in a new pod and keep using the same device. There are no bottles to refill and no coils to change, because each pod has its own coil built in.

The rechargeable alternative to disposable vapes

Single-use disposable vapes have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025. Pre-filled pod kits give the same bar-style flavours and simple, draw-activated use in a device you recharge and keep. Many kits include several pods in the box, and the puff count on the pack refers to all of them combined.

Choosing a kit

  • Pod compatibility – each kit only takes its own brand of pods. Check the refill packs available before you choose a device.
  • Flavour range – some systems offer dozens of pod flavours, from fruit and ice to menthol and tobacco.
  • Nicotine strength – pods are usually 20mg nic salt, with some ranges also available in 10mg.
  • Battery and charging – most kits charge by USB-C and include a screen or light showing battery and pod level.

Can I refill pre-filled pods?

No. Pre-filled pods are sealed and designed to be replaced, not refilled. If you would rather use your own e-liquid, choose a refillable pod kit.

How long does a pre-filled pod last?

It depends on how often you vape. Each 2ml pod typically lasts roughly as long as a disposable vape did.

Can I use pods from another brand?

No. Pods are made for their own device, so ELUX pods only fit ELUX devices, and so on. Check compatibility on each listing.
